Report: Rams ‘Irritated’ By Logistics Surrounding 2020 Patriots Game

The New England Patriots may have the toughest schedule for the 2020 season. However, the Los Angeles Rams didn’t really like the whole thing surrounding the Patriots. Do the “Patriots get all the breaks” this season?

The release of the 2020 NFL season didn’t sit well with some people. New England is playing the Los Angeles Rams on Dec. 10 for the Week 14 “Thursday Night Football” game. On Dec. 6, the team will confront the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium. The Rams will be traveling to Arizona to play the Cardinals.

Greg Bedard from Boston Sports reported that the Rams didn’t like this logistical discrepancy.

“Heard the Rams are a little irritated they’re away before the Thursday night game vs. Patriots, while New England plays in the Rams’ stadium,” Bedard tweeted Friday. “Patriots will be in their hotel by 6 PT. Rams will be landing around that time.”

The Rams don’t have a reason t be mad with the Patriots

Can we really say that the Patriots have an advantage? Many analysts won’t agree on this one.

In most cases, we’d say the organization playing on the opposite coast that they are used to is a problem. But, by the time Bill Belichick and Co. confront the Rams, New England will have been on the west for three weeks. Let’s not forget that they play the Cardinals in Week 12. There are a few reasons for us to believe that the team will have acclimated to the game out west.

The Rams won’t really travel a lot upon leaving the Cardinals. They won’t travel at all. So, all this complaining doesn’t really make sense.

Julian Edelman, the McCourty twins and the rest of the Patriots team will play the Miami Dolphins in Week 1. This will be a rather anticipating season for the Brady-less team. The Patriots will play their first season without Brady in two decades. You can’t ignore that.

But, Belichick knows that his team is packed with talented players. He is confident about them moving forward. Jarrett Stidham will have the leading role on the roster. He will throw passes to a group of talented players.
