Lakers Success Depends On Solution To LeBron James & Anthony Davis Problem

LeBron James and Anthony Davis don’t seem to be dealing with a problem of any kind now. The Los Angeles Lakers are close to the playoffs and it seems like everything is under control.

The Lakers didn’t have much luck in the last few years. They missed the playoffs after winning the title inside the NBA bubble. Now is the real time to make a change.

The Lakers have an obvious LeBron, Davis problem

Truth is, Lakers players struggled to stay healthy. Anthony Davis and LeBron James missed a lot of time. In 19 games without the big man, LeBron is 10-9. The big man is 11-9 without LeBron on the floor. The Lakers are also a below -.500 team without AD and look similar in LeBron’s absence. When both players miss time, the Lakers are 2-5.

Rob Pelinka and Jeanie Buss rely on this powerful duo. This takes us all the way to Troy Brown Jr. and his theory.

According to Brown, health is a No.1 problem in LA.

“I feel like there’s some good to it and some bad to it, honestly,” Brown Jr. said of LeBron’s return to the court via the NBA Interviews YouTube channel. “Just it being so quick. You kind of go to get used to it. Obviously, he plays a certain way. He moves the ball a certain [way]. We were playing a certain style, and then he comes back, and we have to adjust. So, it’s good to have these next two days to figure it out and get it together. Obviously, we’re very happy to have him back. But there are some things where it was like, ‘Dang, if we just had a little bit more practice, it definitely would have helped us.’ But we’re definitely happy to have him back.”

LeBron won’t need a surgery

LeBron was out since February and many believes that he’d need a surgery. Well, the four-time NBA champion says he won’t need any.

“I don’t know. Right now, I don’t need it,” LeBron said. “So, we’ll see what happens. I’ll probably get another MRI at the end of the season and go from there. But if I end up having to get surgery after the season, you guys won’t know. I don’t talk to you guys in the offseason, and by the time next season starts, I’ll be fine. I’ll be ready to go.”
