Trade Proposal Replaces Patriots Jabrill Peppers, Draft Picks With1,000-YD WR

The New England Patriots selected a quarterback with their highest pick in the draft. In other words, they have to pair him with a star wide receiver. New England didn’t really make any major changes regarding the depth at this position. Now may be the perfect time to sign a star wide receiver. To make this happen, the Patriots may have to trade Jabrill Peppers.

Tony Catalina from Pro Football Focus came up with an ideal trade scenario. The Patriots will have to trade Peppers and second- and sixth-round picks to get a star WR.

“The Patriots have obvious needs on the outside, and adding Aiyuk to the mix may be exactly what New England’s new regime is looking for.”

Brandon Aiyuk has been mentioned as a popular trade target for the Lakers. He cannot really create a big deal with his current team which gives the Patriots an excellent advantage.

“The Patriots tried to be aggressive in free agency with their pursuit of Calvin Ridley and other available wideouts but struck out on finding a true impact add.”

Patriots should consider a Peppers trade

San Francisco has a loaded roster, but Peppers can definitely add more depth to their position.

“For the 49ers, veteran Jabrill Peppers is an added piece to sweeten the deal. They instantly get picks for the future while adding another respected veteran in their secondary to help solidify an already feared defensive unit.”

New England relies on rookie power and Jerod Mayo trusts his young bulls. However, he will have to consider adding strong assets and elevate his roster to another level. Maye could be the best QB option on his roster right now, but the talented rookie will need an experienced pair of hands to do magic on the football field. The Patriots are expected to make a few big moves and getting a star WR is definitely something they need to consider.
