Bronny James’ Fully Guaranteed Lakers Contract Details Revealed

The Los Angeles Lakers used their second-round pick to get Bronny James and he has already signed his rookie contract. Shams Charania reported that the Lakers have offered him a four-year deal worth $7.9 million. Bronny was also offered a team option in the final year of his contract.

Many claim that the Lakers drafted Bronny to please his dad. Enter JJ Redick. The new Lakers head coach has a podcast with LeBron. One thing stands for sure. LeBron had nothing to do with both decisions. The Lakers trust Bronny and his potential and Redick really looked like someone who can lead the team. He understands players and played the game himself for 15 years.

Head coach Redick makes eye-opening comment on Bronny and his rookie contract

Redick doesn’t like the fact that some people take Bronny for granted. According to him, LeBron’s oldest son worked really hard to get here.

“Rob and I did not give Bronny anything. Bronny has earned this, right?” Redick said. “Bronny talks about his hard work, Bronny has earned this through hard work. And for us prioritizing player development, we view Bronny as, like, case study one, because his base level of feel, athleticism, point-of-attack defender, shooting, passing … there’s a lot to like about his game. And as we sort of build out our player development program holistically, he’s going to have a great opportunity to become an excellent NBA player.”

Bronny found himself in the center of all events again. He grew up in the spotlight, but it’s different now. He entered the big league and is trying to make a name for himself.

“For sure, amplified amount of pressure,” Bronny said of his current situation. “I’ve already seen it on social media and stuff, and the internet and stuff and talking about that I might not deserve an opportunity. But I’ve been dealing with stuff like this my whole life. So it’s nothing different, but it’s more amplified, for sure. But I’ll get through it.”
