Legendary Rob Gronkowski Won’t Let Rare Patriots Touchdown Be Forgotten

Rob Gronkowski is one of the best tight ends in NFL history. He delivered great performance during his time with the team. Gronk won a lot of games with the Patriots and helped them win championships. Big Gronk also won a title in his first season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. One thing stands for sure. The legendary tight end will always remember his 2011 season with the Patriots. Fans also remember this season, because Gronkowski actually added a rushing touchdown to his stats.

In 2011, the former Patriots tight end scored 17 touchdowns and had 90 passes for 1,324 yards.

Gronkowski joined former Patriots tight end Julian Edelman on his “Games With Names” podcast and talked about this particular season. They talked about his rushing touchdown and Edelman made a hilarious comment about it.

Gronk was able to catch a pass behind the line of scrimmage and gave the Patriots a two-yard score. It was a beautiful game for all players on the Patriots roster and they sure found a way to keep the Indianapolis Colts under control. The Patriots celebrated a 31-24 win that night and finished their season with a 13-3 record. This great record sent them to Super Bowl XLVI.

Edelman and Gronkowski had a great relationship on and off the field. Their friendship is still strong and now they work as NFL analysts for FOX Sports. Tom Brady has also joined the squad and as he signed multiyear deal with the network.
