LeBron James Gets 100% Honest About Playing At 2028 Olympics

LeBron James flashed his dominant side once again, leading Team USA to gold in the 2024 Paris Olympics. The four-time NBA champion was the ultimate leader on the basketball court in France. He teamed up with some of the better players in the NBA, sharing the floor with Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant among others.

It was a great competition for Team USA. Winning gold is always a good idea and LeBron knows it best. He was the oldest player on Steve Kerr’s roster and this was his fourth appearance in the Games. LeBron is 39, but age didn’t stop him from winning gold. LeBron and his teammates celebrated a great win and the media didn’t waste any time. Will he suit up for the 2028 Olympics?

LeBron didn’t really say, ‘no,” but his response gave out a clear hint. He will be 43 and playing at that age may not be in his books.  

“Nah, I can’t see myself playing in LA. But I also couldn’t see myself playing in Paris,” the Lakers superstar said after winning gold. “Four years from now, no, I can’t see myself playing.”

LeBron is making some calculations regarding his future in the NBA. He is the most dominant player in league history and his duration has inspired a lot of young players. LeBron is the only you look up to when making plans about the future. He knows how to win games and can definitely embrace any role he is given

The Lakers offered LeBron a two-year deal. He didn’t get a max extension and there may be a whole different story behind this.

Some NBA analysts don’t really feel confident about LeBron’s performance, but he has just won a gold medal. We have a few good reasons to believe that LeBron can win a title in the next couple of seasons.
