LeBron’s USA Try To Silence Serbia Again For Olympic Final Berth

LeBron James and Team USA showed real dominance in the 2024 Paris Olympics. They celebrated a great win over Brazil and will now meet a familiar challenger. LeBron and his Team USA teammates will play against Nikola Jokic and Team Serbia. This would be a match fans won’t miss for anything in the world.

It won’t be easy, but Team USA has already celebrated two wins over their Serbian opponents. They won a friendly match before the start of the Olympics and another in group stage play.

LeBron, Team USA has already beat Serbia twice

Team USA head coach Steve Kerr is well aware of the challenge his players face. Jokic and his teammates pose a serious threat for Americans.

“Serbia is really good,” Kerr said. “We can’t get lulled to sleep because we beat them twice. We have to be prepared for their best effort. We’ve got to think about, what are they going to do differently. Every game is so different and unique. You never know when the ball’s going in, when it’s not going in. We have to be prepared.”

Team USA has enough talent and LeBron is the ultimate leader. He is joined by Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and a bunch of other great players.

“Every game is its own test,” said LeBron after the win over Brazil. “It don’t matter what happened in the first two, it’s about what goes down Thursday night.”

This is Curry’s first Olympic and he seems to be happy with the outcome. His team had to beat Brazil in order to move on to the next opponent.

“The first unit got off to a better start which we haven’t seen all tournament,” he said. “We feel the energy of single elimination. It brings the best out of you.”

Curry likes “single-elimination tournament basketball” and its advantage. “ It reminds you how hard it is to win a gold medal,” he added.
